Invitation

Ordinary Way     

I’ve just seen the way on an ordinary day ~ we love we laugh we cry ~ and then we try to understand just why ~ It forms in open space and it’s something we call Grace ~ to love to laugh and cry ~ but then we try to understand just why ~  I can see it getting clearer now ~ this offers more than I would ever see ~ As my body becomes more wise ~ I can see beauty like never before ~ Oh I see this day and the ordinary way ~ we open up again ~ and then for us this becomes one more truth ~ Hand on my heart ~ hoping to find ~ somewhere to start ~ and then we try to understand each other more ~ Oh to see that day and the ordinary way ~ we open up again ~ I can see it getting clearer now ~ this offers more than I did ever see ~ Hand on my heart  ~ hoping to find ~ somewhere to start ~ As my body  becomes more wise ~ I see a beauty like never before ~ and then the world takes on a different hue

Field

Tumbling corn as a new one appears ~ taking our breath and replacing the fear ~ born in a field then our eyes opened wide ~ there were hints of a new widening tide ~ In the field it is humming ~ there’s a new world ~ it is coming ~ with even more than we know ~ Born in a field and our minds open wide ~ there are hints of a great new shifting tide ~ Waiting all this time waiting for a sign ~ what we are seeking is here ~ In the field it is humming ~ it’s a new world it is coming ~ with so much more than we know ~ Born in a field then our eyes opened wide

Forgive Us    

Please forgive us for we don’t know what we do ~ Please forgive us ~ we don’t have time for the truth ~ and we’re fumbling at every turn ~ as people do as we do ~ Please forgive us ~ Please forgive us don’t want to see what lies ahead ~ We can turn it around if we start with right now ~ We can turn it around if we start right where we are ~ Please forgive us for we don’t know what we do ~ Please forgive us we don’t have time for the truth ~ and we’re fumbling at every turn as people do as we do ~ We can turn it around when we start with right now ~ We can turn it around if we start right where we are ~ Please forgive us ~ we just don’t know 

Love's Pure Sound    

You came out of nowhere ~ lighting our way ~ begging for nothing just showing your Grace ~ We’ve created a fine mess ~ what’s our way out?  More and more fighting  builds fear and doubt ~ But Love is a new currency ~ Love holds the key to a joy so deep ~ Why would I turn any other way?  from love’s pure sound ~  Love is a new currency ~ You came out of nowhere ~ lighting our way ~ begging for nothing ~ just showing your Grace ~ fear is an old currency ~ now we can see much more Light ~ Right now I see I can turn this way to love’s pure sound ~ Love is a new currency ~ Love is a new currency

Journey  

I’m already liking this journey ~ I think it started with the first step ~ I am moving beyond an old wall ~ and it started when I said yes ~ There’s AIR everywhere! ~ flowing through the ancient trees ~ There’s AIR everywhere! ~ and it started with a first breath ~ and it started ~ Countless times journeys’ beginning ~ they keep growing through many hearts ~ and we move on beyond our old ways ~ and it started when I said Yes! ~ and it started when I said yes ~ and it started when I said ~ There’s AIR everywhere! ~ flowing through ancient trees ~ There’s AIR everywhere! ~ and it started when I said yes ~ and it started     ~ I’m already liking this journey

Ever

See Us Through

We are here for now ~ falling in our own wake ~ We could start now to learn from all our mistakes ~ mankind might stay ~ hanging from a ledge ~ Yes we may stay ~ holding by a thread ~ night grows dark ~ yet there has always been ~ Moonlight above it all ~ So many are so willing to tempt the hand of fate ~ so hungry to fill up all that emptiness ~ mankind might stay ~ hanging from a ledge ~ Yes we may stay ~ holding by a thread ~ night grows dark ~ yet there has always been ~ Moonlight above it all ~ and if we start to care ~ this is our home beware ~ Sunlight can see us through ~ So many are so willing to tempt the hand of fate ~ so hungry to fill up all that emptiness ~ mankind might stay ~ hanging from a ledge ~ Yes we may stay ~ holding by a thread ~ night grows dark ~ yet there has always been ~ Sunlight to see us through
