What is mine? What is my category? ~ Please define ~ What is my category? Where do I fit? What is my place in here? ~ I will find it underneath the swaying hemlocks ~ Does it matter? Does it matter? Does it matter anyway? ~ Is this mine? Is this my category? ~ Freedom is my category ~ Where will I fit? Where will I find my home? ~ I can find it out beside the falling water ~ Does it matter? Does it matter? Does it matter anyway? ~ Would we find, one category? Containing all the categories ~ Where we all fit, no need to stratify ~ I have found it, underneath the shining starlight ~ There may be seven billion categories now, rolled into one

 

The One

It’s not over as we fear ~ It is forever ~ It will not fade away for sure ~ Goes on forever ~ This is love that I see ~ Those are lives not lost in vain ~ It’s not all over anymore ~ It is forever ~ Have we seen another side, in all our yearning? ~ For love in our world ~ It always seemed so far away ~ Another time, another place ~ And now we find another way ~ Just when we can truly stand to fall so sweetly ~ In the arms of grace

 

This Sweet Earth     

A quiet moment in this busy world is enough ~ Sunlight, sparkling water fills my soul ~ Ruby distant sunrise lifts me there and dancing, quaking leaves fill my heart ~ Then Why? Why do we need more and more? ~ When a quiet moment in this changing world is enough ~ Sunlight, water is enough ~ Blue, distant sunset calms my heart ~ And your tender touch takes me there ~ Oh Why? Why do we need to take more? ~ Maybe we can learn to give back to this sweet Earth of ours

How could a lover lie in a valley like this? ~ I had just never seen you looking over like this ~ Why would a lover lie in a valley like this? ~ All I was ever asked was to open like this ~ You have been there in my dreams, open and willing and free ~ So what would I lose anymore? ~ I’ve lost all illusions in my little world ~ But you have been there in my dreams, open and willing and free

 

Lullaby                    

Lullaby, for the sky ~ Lullaby, night floating by ~ Witnessing, for this is one free moment ~ Passing through our lives hmmmmm and can I sing a lullaby, to the sky floating by, one moonlit hour ~ Look at me, look at you, marvel here, in the air ~ Can I fill it in? With colors of my love ~ Looks like a sign of heaven in our mind ~ Then I want to sing a lullaby, to the sky lullaby, night floating by

 

Loaded Planet

I need hope now ~ I want hope now ~ For an hour, for a day, for a year ~ I want to see us learn ~ I want to give my love ~ For an hour, for a day, for a year ~ That was a most harsh calling ~ Do we see? That we all have a part on this planet, unfurling in time ~ That was the wake up call I needed, to believe that we all are a part of the love that can transform this world, this world ~ I see hope now ~ I feel hope now ~ In this hour, on this day, it is here

I heard this Melody ~ I saw some Harmony ~ I wandered through the trees ~ But did not find the forest ~ I heard this lilting call ~ Stumbling through the woods ~ There was your velvet voice ~ Though I did not see you waiting ~ And then you ~ Yes, then you ~ Kept saying ‘Together’ ~ We had this melody ~ We made this harmony ~ So lost among the trees ~ I did not see the forest ~ What is this melody? ~ What makes this harmony? ~ You were among the trees ~ But I did not see you waiting ~ And then you ~ Yes, then you kept saying ‘Together’ ~ We have this melody ~ We make a harmony ~ We find among the trees ~ A lovely verdant forest ~ I heard this lilting call ~ Stumbling through the woods ~ There was your velvet voice ~ Though I did not see you waiting ~ So we are ~ Yes, we are turning to each other ~ Together, each other, together

 

Stillness

         

In the stillness, I hear ~ Words I may have never heard ~ Songs I may have never sung ~ Thoughts upon a rising sun ~ Soaring in, gliding down ~ Softly, slowly, or like a trumpet swan ~ Carrying more than I have ever known ~ Opening doors to things I’ve never shown ~ There it is! It’s a circle, lighting for the day, into night ~ It offers, it blesses, under an open sky ~ Through you a world of something new will come ~ Through you a world ~ A new and better one ~ In the stillness, I hear
